Gareth studied in Edinburgh and Copenhagen. He gained professional experience at Allan Murray Architects in Edinburgh and Terry Pawson Architects in London prior to joining Panter Hudspith Architects in 2002. He has been an Associate with the practice since 2007.

Gareth acted as the Project Architect in the Oxford Castle Heritage Project which involved new build and restoration of Grade II listed buildings and comprised a museum, education centre, cafe and residential units. The project formed a key element in the larger redevelopment of the former Victorian Prison in the centre of the city which has won numerous awards including MIPIM, Civic Trust, RIBA & RICS.

Gareth acted as Project Architect on a number of mixed-use schemes in Southwark and a riverside scheme in Salford comprising 750 apartments, commercial and retail. He is currently responsible for a number of buildings which form part of the Athlete’s Village development for the London 2012 Olympics.
