Mark studied at Cambridge University and the University of Westminster. He gained professional experience at Scott Brownrigg & Turner, Fitch & Co and ORMS prior to setting up Panter Hudspith Architects in 1988. Mark is responsible for practice management within the office and for project management of large scale projects. 

Mark has extensive experience of cinema, education and commercial projects and of working with existing buildings of all ages. He was Parter in Charge of a new visitor centre at Oxford Castle comprising education facilities, a residential complex, shop and cafe, which has received six awards including MIPIM, RIBA and the Civic Trust. Mark was also responsible for the White Rose and Civic Trust Award winning Sure Start Nursery in Sheffield.

Mark's recent project involvement includes a new library and conference spaces for the King’s Fund in central London, which completed in April 2009, and a 25,000 sqm mixed-use development in Tunbridge Wells.
