Mark Panter
MA (Cantab), Dip Arch, RIBA


Mark studied at Cambridge University and the University of Westminster. He gained professional experience at Scott Brownrigg & Turner, Fitch & Co and ORMS prior to setting up Panter Hudspith Architects. Mark is responsible for Practice Management within the office and for project management of large scale projects.

 

Simon Hudspith
BA, M. Arch (Penn), RIBA


Simon studied at Newcastle University and was a Harkness Fellow at Penn University, USA. He gained professional experience at the Terry Farrell Partnership, Venturi Rauch & Scott Brown and ORMS prior to setting up Panter Hudspith Architects in 1988.

 
 

Mark has extensive experience of cinema, education and commercial projects and of working with existing buildings of all ages. He has recently completed a new visitor centre at Oxford Castle comprising education facilities, residential complex, shop and cafe. Mark was partner in charge of the White Rose and Civic Trust Award winning Sure Start Nursery in Sheffield.

Mark is currently overseeing new library and conference spaces for the King’s Fund in central London, a residential development in Uxbridge and is partner in charge of the hotel, retail and office development on the former cinema site in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

 

Simon is responsible for the management of the design process within the office, overseeing the consistency and thoroughness of approach from concept to design, through detailed design to the production of information for construction.

Simon has been a visiting tutor at the Architectural Association, Birmingham University, Cambridge University and juror for the Civic Trust Awards. Simon is also competition and awards assessor for the RIBA and Civic Trust. An external examiner at the universities of Portsmouth, Lincoln and Southbank University. He has lectured extensively throughout the UK and is a member of the Southwark Review Design Panel.
