Quayside, Berwick
Following a competitive interview Panter Hudspith were appointed
carry to out a townscape analysis of Berwick and produce a masterplan
for the disused quayside area.
The proposal is for a mixed use development including housing, leisure,
education and a new youth hostel. Centred around a public space
the scheme will create a walkway along the waterside and strengthen
links with the town centre. The language of the scheme continues
the tight urban grain of the town with enhanced views and access
to the water.
