Bear Lane, London
Bear Lane is a high quality residential scheme near Tate Modern comprising of approximately one hundred two and three bedroom apartments with five retail / business units at ground floor. An existing public house is to remain on the site and Panter Hudspith have worked with the local planning authority to scale the development to accommodate this and any possible future development in its place.
Panter Hudspith have sought to create a sensitive scheme that respects the scale of the surrounding buildings as well as creating a series of exciting residential units which make maximum use of the site area and keying in to Southwarks development strategy for the area.
Throughout the design process Panter Hudspith have worked closely with Southwark Planning Department using a combination of sketch models and perspective to explore the design.
