Panter Hudspith Architects were commissioned to design a five-bedroom private house in Surrey, which would be a low maintenance, energy efficient home able to meet the family’s changing needs.

The design, developed in close consultation with the client, emphasised high quality fittings and traditional materials. The house is focused about a double height conservatory space which addresses a large garden. Heating and ventilation are controlled by solar gain in summer and passive cooling in winter.
